On September 8, 1966, Star Trek premiered on televisions across America taking viewers on the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. Join us at The Palm, West Hollywood for a special dinner to celebrate the premiere of a series that changed the way we looked at civilization, diversity and humanity, and experience one of Los Angeles’ most iconic restaurants before it closes its doors.
The classic steakhouse is known for the caricatures of famous faces that adorn the walls, including Gene Roddenberry. We will be sitting near Gene Roddenberry’s caricature to honor his vision and celebrate the premiere date of The Original Series.
Please note that this is an informal event and not a hosted party. Eugene “Rod” Roddenberry has made reservations for himself and a few friends and family. He is welcoming anyone interested to make your own reservations for this celebration. While he will be sitting at his own table, he will gladly make himself available to chat with any and all who attend.
Make your reservation early, as the restaurant will probably fill up. When you call The Palm, West Hollywood, let them know you are making a table reservation to sit close to Eugene Roddenberry’s table near Gene Roddenberry’s caricature on the wall so you will be seated in the same area. Call for reservations (310) 550-8811.
Well look forward to seeing you there!

In Los Angeles, there is no better place to see and be seen than at The Palm. The Palm in West Hollywood has been a staple with celebrities since it opened in 1975. The Palm Restaurant in West Hollywood will close its doors on September 30th. They will open a new restaurant in Beverly Hills in November 2014.
The Palm’s philosophy is simple: Treat guests like family, serve great food, and always exceed expectations. That philosophy was born in 1926, when Pio Bozzi and John Ganzi opened the first Palm in New York City. Still owned and operated by members of the Bozzi and Ganzi families, The Palm continues to serve as a second home for countless patrons, thanks to the exceptional standard of hospitality established by our founders.
