Join Rod Roddenberry and the Roddenberry Adventures team for a 4 wheeling desert camping adventure at the 53rd annual Tierra Del Sol Desert Safari March 6-8, 2015 in the Truckhaven Hills area of the North Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA). The family focused Desert Safari will have trails for all skill levels within the 4×4 community. Come out and experience the fun and adventure of southern California’s finest wheeling and enjoy the spectacular fireworks and famous “TDS Raffle” with more than $100K in prizes.
Base Camp coordinates for registration: N 33 15.691 W 116 00.857. The headquarters and base camp is 23 miles East from Christmas Circle (Borrego Springs) on S-22 or 3.0 miles west of state highway 86. Distance to West Shores Senior Citizen hall is 2.0 miles.
This is an easy access dry wash area, near the famous Tuckhaven Hills with lots of room for campers, RV’s, and trailers. Bring your own nail-free firewood and drinking water. Additional supplies are available in Salton City.

Friday, March 6th

4:00pm – we plan to arrive
Saturday, March 7th
6:30am – Registration
8:00am – Run leaves from campsite
7:00pm – Raffle begins. Fireworks show after raffle.
Sunday, March 8th
Check at the Information Booth and www.tdsdesertsafari.com for Sunday run information and the West Shores Seniors Club Sunday Breakfast.
10:00am – we plan to leave

ABOUT TIERRA DEL SOL
Tierra Del Sol is a non-profit club that fights to keep Public Lands open. TDS uses portions of the proceeds from the Desert Safari to fight land closures and to keep trails open, and helping 4 Wheel 2 Heal (4W2H) take wounded and disabled veterans to off-roading evebts.
